\n🏆 Finalist of the bauma Innovation Award 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are thrilled to share that the Center Construction Robotics has made it through the pre-selection process and is a finalist in the category Research<\/strong> for the upcoming bauma Innovation Award 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The organizers award the prize to research and development teams from companies and universities that are bringing practical leading technology for the construction, building materials, construction machinery and mining industry to market readiness while focusing on resources, the environment and people.<\/p>\n

The prize is an initiative of VDMA, VDMA Services GmbH, Messe M\u00fcnchen and the leading associations of the German construction industry: Hauptverband der Deutschen Bauindustrie (HDB), der Zentralverband Deutsches Baugewerbe (ZDB) and Bundesverband Baustoffe – Steine und Erden (bbs) and is awarded in the following categories:<\/p>\n

✔ Climate protection
\n✔ Digitalization
\n✔ Machine technology
\n✔ Construction
\n✔ Research<\/p>\n

Our application, based on the Enable Sanierung 4.0<\/strong> (Refurbishment) research project (Enable Sanierung – center construction robotics<\/a>), convinced the expert jury for selection! The main goal of Enable Sanierung 4.0 is to develop a first Plug & Produce prototype for semi-automated, scaffold-free assembly in building refurbishment.<\/p>\n

The project Enable Sanierung 4.0 was funded by the \u201cDigitalization of the construction industry and innovative construction\u201d funding initiative<\/strong> of the Ministry of Regional Identity, Local Government, Building and Digitalization of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (https:\/\/www.mhkbd.nrw\/)\u00a0 and developed with the support of the consortial partners of the Center Construction Robotics at RWTH Aachen University: Fundermax, KUKA and Jekko Deutschland GmbH.<\/strong><\/p>\n
